SCHOOL AND DAYCARE OBSERVATIONS

We visit the school or daycare to evaluate and provide guidance.

Inside the service

We visit the child in their educational environment — traditional school, Montessori, daycare — to observe social communication, classroom participation, and dynamics with teachers and peers. We produce a report and a specific accommodations plan for the school to implement.

Who it's for

FAMILIES WHO...

Families whose child is struggling in school, or whose school has requested an outside specialist consult.

How it works

THE PROCESS.

  1. 1Pre-coordination with the school to define observation goals
  2. 22-3 hour visit during a regular day
  3. 3Post-observation meeting with parents + school
  4. 4Findings report + accommodations recommendations
When to consider it

SIGNS TO WATCH.

  • The school has expressed specific concerns
  • Your child behaves differently at school than at home
  • You want a formal accommodations plan (504, IEP)
  • Your child participates little in class
